Share the Vibe: RKSTBL

Skulls, skateboards and La Folie. Fans will immediately recognize the style of rkstbl in this already iconic Share the Vibe.
rkstbl is Rik Stabel. Illustrator, graphic designer and creator of several remarkable posters of the city of Eindhoven. It started off on Instagram, now his illustrations are included in the collection of fashion and design store Hutspot.

All these posters now come to life in this video. The first shots are a reference to the intro of the Simpsons, where you enter Springfield from the air.

"What I wanted to share in this video are the hidden treasures of the city. Places like the Hoogste Tijd, La Folie and the Ketelhuis are bars where I often meet friends. People from the skateboard culture, creative people with an entrepreneurial spirit.

When I sit there on a Friday afternoon drinking my beer, I feel proud of this city. The atmosphere here is so incredibly colorful. I really feel surrounded by great people who know how to get creative projects off the ground together. That easy-going and inspiring feeling, that's the vibe of the city for me.”
