62x Going out for dinner on Monday in Eindhoven

The first day of the week is a wrap! Be proud, you made it through! And just so you know, hard work should be rewarded. So treat yourself to a bite to eat in the city! Maybe you’re thinking ‘isn't everything closed on Monday?’ Nope! We found over 60 places that are very much open. Bon appetit!

Restaurants around the central station

Traveling by train? When you exit the central station, the possibilities are endless! From a quick, healthy bite to fancy dining. Stop by The Social Hub, Eetcafé de Vrienden, Giornale, Sizzling, or Gauchos.

Little Italy (and more) on Dommelstraat

You will find plenty of other culinary hotspots close to the train station. Immerse yourself in the culinary world of Italy at Antonio's, Sicilia, or La Dolce Vita. Fancy a grand shepherd pie for a small price? Then definitely stop by Trafalgar Pub.

Having food in the city center

There are so many options for a Monday dinner in the city center, it might be a little overwhelming. To guide you in the right direction, we'll share some of our favorites. Looking for fancy restaurants? Visit Brasserie Rita, Brasserie van den Berg, or Dijk 9. Something more budget-friendly? Then we have Happy Italy, Touch of India, Stadsbrouwerij, Eetcafé Spijker, or 't Zusje in store for you.

Grand café Berlage

Tasty surprises at Wilhelminaplein

Wilhelminaplein is probably the city's hotspot for living the good life, Brabant-style. Even on a Monday! Take a seat at Restaurant 1910 or Bistro Sophie for high-end food with a modern twist. In the mood for comfort food? Around the corner, on Willemstraat, you will find Foodgasm. A fantastic Indian restaurant. Grab a table while they're hot!

De Markt on Monday

Eindhoven central market square has everything your culinary heart desires! It will take you several Monday evenings to try everything. How about Wildeman, Vooruitgang or Luzt? Zoet en Zout and Ritos should be on your list, too, although they are not officially on De Markt. We don't mind since you can basically crawl there.

A bite to eat around Witte Dame

On Clausplein, you can visit Radegast on Mondays. On the other side of the building, you'll find Martini's. The perfect place for a Pizza Don Vito. More into noodles? Walk over to XU across from De Witte Dame. Or, for the one and only Neapolitan pizza, head over to Pizza Beppe.

Culinary journey at Kerkstraat

If you are a true cosmopolitan, this street is right up the alley. De  Burger, Van 't Spit, Litho's, Takumi, and Vegan Junkfood Bar are some delicious hotspots waiting for you.

Fifth NRE

Fancy pancy at Kleine Berg

De Bergen is bursting with tasty joints. And yes, everything is open here on Mondays too. Lucky you! All right, here we go: Berlage, Mathilde, Bellevue, Café Bommel, Lucie, Mangiare, and Roast Club. Need even more suggestions? Cool! We continue with Umami, Loods 61, and last but not least: MOOD.

Strijp-S on Monday evenings

Kick off our Monday evening at Pizzeria Hout. The perfect place for a legendary pizza from the wood-fired oven. Nearby you'll find Loetje, De Oude Telefooncentrale, and Chajiä. Continue your way to Natlab or Blue Collar for a delicious Monday evening snack.

Fingerlicking good food in Schrijversbuurt

You can't afford to ignore Rozenknopje on Monday evenings. Sit down at the Stammtafel and enjoy a starter and main course for only €15. Other recommendations around here are Doyy, Nico's and Thais voor Thuis. Just outside Schrijversbuurt, but definitely worth a visit, is Gusto 040.

Must-visits at NRE-terrain

You can enjoy fabulous food at this industrial piece of heritage. Take the time for a fancy 4-course meal at Fifth NRE, or settle for an ultra-healthy bite at Good Food Republic.

Hop on your bike for these hotspots

Make a reservation at Harbour Club on the Karpensonkse Plas or restaurant Thym at the beautiful Stadswandelpark. After a long day at school, De Zwarte Doos is the place to be on the TU/e site. For an evening of comfort food, choose the Rockachili Fries of Dirty Fries on Aalsterweg.
