Van Abbemuseum
The tulips and other flowers symbolize solidarity and serve as a reminder of the resistance against Russian imperialism, such as the events of April 9, 1989, in Tbilisi. The work prompts visitors to reflect, as peace in Georgia today is as fragile as a flower. The threat from the Russian Federation remains ever-present.

In "The eye" of the Van Abbemuseum, you can see the free exhibition by Ketuta Alexi-Meskhishvili. In her work, which combines analog photography, dye-sublimation prints, and film, Ketuta Alexi-Meskhishvili invites us to reflect on the power of imagery in times of oppression.
