The artist invites visitors to reflect on their personal relationship with borders and migration. He specifically chose the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven as the venue because of the city's rich history, where migration is deeply embedded in its DNA. After its presentation at the Van Abbemuseum, the exhibition will travel worldwide, with stops including ZKM | Zentrum für Kunst und Medien Karlsruhe and the Art Sonje Center in Seoul.
An interesting detail is that this exhibition includes an activity book for children, allowing them to playfully explore the exhibition and the museum. This is also fascinating for adults who like to bring out their inner child.
Extra fun: From February 24th, the Van Abbemuseum will start offering guided tours in German, Turkish or Mandarin. Book your free spot right here!
