For years, visual artists Ine Lamers and Elian Somers have been independently researching everyday utopias, former utopias, and the representation of these. From their shared interest in political systems, ideology, and architecture, they are developing a new collaborative exhibition at Pennings Foundation. An exciting arrangement of photographic and cinematic images, cartographic drawings, and audio works invites the viewer to become a participant in the search for an intangible utopian city.
During the exhibition, various public activities will take place. There is also the opportunity to meet the artists in person. More information will be available soon via the website and social media of Pennings Foundation. Links below!
The opening takes place on Saturday, 3 September, from 4 pm to 6 pm. You can walk in for free, but please make sure to pre-register beforehand!
