9x Comfy spots for fall beers

Hello, autumn! The season of warm sweaters, mushrooms, and perhaps most importantly ... bock beers! Dive into these nine cozy pubs for tasty beers and board games for extra fun. We couldn't make it more relaxing. Cheers!

Stadsbrouwerij 100 Watt

Alongside the Dommel River, you'll find the former Schellens terrain. Where once textiles were interwoven, beer is now brewed by De Stadsbrouwerij. And of course, tasted at Café 100 Watt. The beer lineup includes over 30 award-winning beers. So, making a choice won't be easy. Nevertheless, a great place to wave summer goodbye with a bock beer in your other hand.

Our suggestion: Bye Bye Summer - Bockbeer (6%)

Van Moll

The enthusiasm for beer at Van Moll balances on the edge of madness, they proclaim. They drink beer, taste beer, and, of course, brew beer. Wheat beer, stout, and New England Pale Ale. Gueuze, saison and, of course, bock beer. At Van Moll Brewery, you'll find them all. Good news: they have the most fun board games!

Our suggestion: Opgebokt! - Chocolate Doppelbock (7,2%)

Gastrobar Luzt

The owners of the Stadsbrouwerij were ready for a new adventure which resulted in Gastrobar Luzt. It's no surprise that specialty beers are inevitable here, too. Completely in theme, you can taste four beers here: Amor, Cupid, Eros, and Psyche. Not an official bock beer, but very tasty. Love (or luzt) at first sight!

Our suggestion: Eros - Triple (8,5%)

Rabauw

Rabauw

Between all the new constructions at Strijp-S, you can find Rabauw Craft Beer. Prominent are the enormous kettles in which the beer is brewed by their one-of-a-kind workforce. They proudly go by the name "Rabauwers." To fully immerse yourself in the world of specialty beer, you can tour the brewery. You definitely deserve a beer afterward!

Our suggestion: You’ll never bock alone - Dubble bock (7,8%)

Tapperij de Bierelier

Tapperij de Bierelier is the place to be for a delicious autumnal beer. You can enjoy a snack and drink in the garden of this cozy pub, should the weather allow it. For soccer fans, PSV matches are broadcast on a big screen. Reason enough to walk by sometime, as far as we're concerned.

Our suggestion: La Trappe Quadruppel - Trappist (10%)

Mooie Boules

Mooie Boules

If you won't get bored in one place, it's at Mooie Boules! Besides many board games, you can throw a ball while having a drink with your friends. Need more activities for when it's pouring outside? We've figured out many more things to do during the fall season. You're welcome!

Our suggestion: Uiltje Bird of Prey - IPA (5,8%)

Eetcafé Bommel

The Kleine Berg is full of glitter and glory, but if you like things a little more modest, there's the brown café Bommel. On tap, they have plenty of beers, but they serve the best autumn beers by the bottle. Fancy a bite? They offer a homemade (and affordable) menu every day, including vegetarian options!

Our suggestion: Duvel 666 - Blond (6,66%)

Cyklist

For maintenance on your racing bike, you can hop over to café Cyklist, but that's not why we want to point them out. On the NRE grounds, you'll be warm and cozy among cycling and beer lovers. Especially with a portion of bitterballen. Got a long ride ahead of you? Stick to a low-alcohol beer!

Our suggestion: Kwaremont - Blond (0,3%)

Radegast

In the Witte Dame on the Clausplein, you'll find Radegast 040. Their concept consists of "beers and bites" with a raw edge, so don't forget to order one of their delicious bites that go with your fall beer. We did a quick count, but with 87(!) different beers, there must be something tasty for everyone. Cheers!

Our suggestion: Zeezuiper - Triple (8%)
