A new season: 7x Autumnal tips

Summer may be over, but don’t worry: there is plenty to do and see in Eindhoven, especially during the fall season. We’ve selected some (indoor) activities, online events, and other tips for you to enjoy, even when the weather does not play along!
Museums & art spaces
A rainy afternoon is ideal for a visit to one of the Eindhoven museums. In downtown Eindhoven, for example, you will find one of Europe’s leading museums for contemporary art: the Van Abbemuseum. For some real Eindhoven history, you can visit both the Philips Museum and the DAF Museum. Are you looking for art in all kinds of forms? Then head to Strijp-S for the MU Hybrid Art House. Here they take you into all possible compositions of art. Or take a look at our overview of museums & art spaces and choose for yourself!
Fall beers
With the Stadsbrouwerij and the delivery service of de Bierbrigadier among others, you won't be short of anything at home. Check out the complete list of spots to get a fall beer. Would you like to learn more about Eindhoven's local beer culture? Check out our short Unfold documentary Beers, Beers, Beers!

Indoor shopping
In bad weather, you want nothing more than to be inside. Fortunately, Eindhoven has enough indoor shopping malls to go to and take shelter. At Strijp-S, you'll find dozens of stores with design, vintage, and crazy interior design items under the roof of the Urban Shopper. Heading off to Woensel? Then we recommend Shopping Center WoensXL. In the center, the shop fanatics can visit both the Heuvel Galerie and Piazza Center.
Outdoor walks
You could almost say fall is the perfect hiking season. It's neither too hot nor too cold and you can enjoy a beautiful play of colors by mother nature herself. In Henri Dunant Park you will find all kinds of art objects and even a playground. Closer to the center, the Stadswandelpark is a must-visit. Haven’t made up your mind yet? Fortunately, we've already listed five autumnal walks for you!
Coffee & pastries
Eindhoven is bursting with coffee places. We not only like to drink it, in Eindhoven we also like to burn the beans ourselves. Warm-up (inside) with a coffee or tea, and of course a homemade delicacy. Order coffee from Stadsbranderij, Lucifer, or CoffeeLab and don't forget to buy a delicacy at Pinkie Patisserie on your way home.
