From going on a culinary world tour to discovering classical music, there's plenty to do! We've done the dirty work for you, so all you have to do is choose which event(s) you want to go to. Storioni Festival @Various locations | untill May 28

Can't miss: the Storioni Festival. This Eindhoven chamber music festival has been surprising visitors since 2007, and this year will be no different. Not really into classical music? No problem! During Music in the Streets on Saturday, May 20, you can get to know festival musicians of all shapes and sizes at various spots in the city center. And if you happen to be a design enthusiast (just say yes), we recommend the concerts on Friday, May 26, at Piet Hein Eek. Sounds like music to our ears! 

BLEND wine festival @Stadswandelpark | May 26 to 29

Wine, wine, and more wine! Stadswandelpark turns white, red and pink during the BLEND Wine Festival. The crème de la crème of local wine suppliers will surprise you with hundreds of quality wines from all over the world. Delicious! And you won't go hungry, as there will be plenty of perfect matching bites. That's what we call a fantastic Whitsun outing!

Matchlight Motorcycle Show @Radio Royaal | May 28 

Rev it up! Check out beautiful vintage motorcycles and enjoy everything related to them at the Matchlight Motorcycle Show this Whitsun weekend. Besides the stunning motorcycles, various artists have let their creative motor oil loose on old jerry cans. Sounds weird, looks really cool!

Foodstock @IJzeren Man | May 26 to 28

You don't have to travel to the other side of the globe for a culinary journey. In fact, the culinary wonders of the world are coming straight to you this Whitsun weekend! Hop on your bike or take a walk to IJzeren Man and indulge in delicious food at Foodstock! The tastiest food trucks are ready and waiting for you, from Surinamese cuisine to traditional Dutch poffertjes. Bon appétit!

Vikingfest @PreHistorisch Dorp | May 27 to 29

Over 200 Vikings are coming to the PreHistorisch Dorp this Whitsun. And you can be there too! Ever wondered what it was like in the Viking era? After visiting the Vikingfest at the PreHistorisch Dorp, you'll know all about it. There's plenty to do, see, and experience for all ages, from wandering around a market in the year 723 to designing your own amulets.

Punksteren @Café the Jack | May 28

The name says it all: top-notch punk music at Café the Jack this Whitsun. A fortune? Definitely not! At Punksteren, you can have the best spot in the house (which is everywhere) for only six euros! We couldn't think of a better deal. And as the cherry on top, you have Whitsun Monday to recover!

Spring is in full swing and that calls for a celebration. You don't have to sit still during the Whitsun weekend. For example, attend the 175th anniversary of Boekhandel Van Piere or hop on the literary Nachtbus and discover talented wordsmiths during a tour in an old school DAF bus!
