Dutch Technology Week | 3 Inside Tips
Last year 42,000 visitors attended the Dutch Technology Week. This edition the festival goes digital. With podcasts, Tech Talks and a (real) international pub quiz. DTW is ready for a special edition. Monique de Wit, project manager of the DTW, and Annemieke Hoefakker, communication advisor DTW, on the three things they are most looking forward to.
Science + Tech Online Quiz
"One of DTW's highlights is the QuizNightXL that takes place every year. In a packed Klokgebouw, teams compete to find out who knows the most, from groundbreaking innovations to the latest gadgets. This year we're hosting the quiz online and on a global scale. That will be an exciting addition. Participants will be able to form teams together with, for example, their colleagues from New Delhi, Portland or Berlin. The quiz starts at 8.30pm Eindhoven time. So depending on your location, it will be a lunch quiz, afternoon quiz or in-the-middle-of-the-night-quiz.”
Night of the Nerds
“The Night of the Nerds is for secondary school students and their teachers and always an important part of DTW. We’re really happy to host an online edition this year with lots of interesting workshops. Learn, for example, how to program music or let Fontys students teach you how to build your own game. But you’ll also find Tech Talks about virtual influencers or how to use AI.”
Podcasts and videos
"We're going to make podcasts on technology for the first time this year. And we're also experimenting with video. Short videos about the latest innovations in breathing equipment or the regional emergency fund for startups. We're curious to see how long these items will have an online impact after the DTW.”
The online edition of the Dutch Technology Week will take place from the 8th till the 13th of June.
