MU Hybrid Art House | A Tip from Rik
At first sight, the name reminds you of a museum, but get to know MU and you know that that description is not enough. The name 'MU Artspace' was recently swapped for the hypermodern 'MU Hybrid Art House'. In this way, MU is less connected to a place and tells you more about their mission: providing a platform for the intersection of all kinds of art genres and ideas. If you're looking for international diversity, you've come to the right place. Here the collection is neither permanent nor static and visitors and talents are being challenged to rethink art in its many shapes and sizes.

Expo: Worlding Worlds
More than an Exhibitions Space
Above all, dare to look beyond what the physical space has to offer. According to Rik, it’s the digital projects that make it even more exciting. In this way, you not only get a glimpse into undiscovered worlds but also obtain new insights. One of the highlights is the Bio Art & Design Awards, which will be exhibited in MU every year after the Dutch Design Week. Once again, it turns out that some industrial buildings are perfectly suited for these changing exhibitions. When Rik visited MU for the first time, they were still located in the Witte Dame. Both buildings reflect Eindhoven's Philips past on both the inside and the outside.
Now that MU will reopen on 1 June, Rik can't resist suggesting the current exhibition: Worlding Worlds. If you would like to visit on a Wednesday, then the entrance is free. Can't wait to pay a visit? Then we'll give you a preview in our series: virtual exhibitions.
