Spring in Eindhoven
As we watch flowers and trees bloom and temperatures rising, it can only mean one thing: Spring’s here! We celebrate the new season a little different this year, but that shouldn’t spoil the fun. These are five (online) Spring tips!
Go on a (virtual) graffiti tour
Eindhoven is a hotbed for urban culture. From stickers to murals, you can spot them on almost every street corner. On the hunt for more? Then the open-air museum called de Berenkuil is something for you. Here, graffiti artists are given complete artistic freedom, which results in colorful artworks in a dynamic collection. You can also enjoy the local street art at home. Eindhovener, photographer, and art lover Lukedaduke shares the story behind special street art online in Walls with Paint.
Cycle through the city
One of the best ways to discover the city is by bike. Hop on and cycle from the Bergen to Strijp-S onward to Woensel West. Once you get the hang of it, you'll make your way through Eindhoven as a local and at the same time get a great impression of the city.
Order a beer
Given the circumstances, this is not possible on a sunny terrace. But try de Bierbrigadier for some beers to enjoy at home. With their wide range of craft beers, including the local top brewers Van Moll and 100 Watt Stadsbrouwerij Eindhoven, they have something for everyone. The Hefeweizen called Brabantsch Weissheit and the non-alcoholic favorite called Wanderlust are reason enough to order. Can't get enough of the beer culture in Eindhoven? Then immerse yourself in 365 seconds with the Unfold video 'Beers, Beers, Beers'.
Due to the coronavirus COVID-19, we will inspire you as much as possible with background stories and tips of things that you can do to experience Eindhoven in a safe way. More information on the measures in Eindhoven and the Netherlands can be found here.
