Myke has a background in the hotel industry, and runs a bed and breakfast at her home and arranges bookings for other locations. To get to know the city, she shows her guests what it is to be a Eindhovener.
November is Glowvember. I think it's cool that the city is turned upside down. It is hard work because we are at various places along the path but I love to take customers from outside to show how beautiful Eindhoven is.
I am born and raised in Eindhoven, born on the Geldropseweg and not planning to move elsewhere. Many people don’t see the beauty of this city. I always tell my friends who left the area, how these last years the vibe has changed.
“The people that come to us usually know exactly what they want. But it also happens that they have no idea”, says Stefan de Bever. “Architects should have a broad view of spatial issues, for professional clients as well as private individuals."
