Anne van den Berg invites you to feel, touch, see and play with(in) her sculptural installation.

From a curiosity about psychiatry, specifically the functioning of the human brain, Anne makes sculptural installations in which the connection between our personal development and physical action is made visible. As a result of new technological developments, there is a lack of tactile aesthetics within our society. Continuing to stimulate the brain, through sensory stimuli, promotes lasting personal development. By creating an installation that can be entered by the viewer, the possibility arises of performing actions, reacting consciously and unconsciously to sculptures, which causes sensory stimuli within the vision and the sense of touch.

Anne van den Berg 1993) graduated in 2018 from the bachelor Fine Arts at the St Joost academy in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. In her work, colours and shapes, playfulness and tactility, physical spatiality and personal experience are key concepts. Texture like Sun is her first solo-show.
