At Natlab, the former Philips’ Physics Laboratory at Strijp-S, you’ll find yourself on historic grounds. Einstein once spoke at the auditorium, a place where you can nowadays watch a movie. Some important innovations saw the light of day at this location (cassette tape, CD) which formed the basis of the contemporary 21st century visual culture. In 2016, Natlab is a culture meeting place for contemporary arts, based on film. Every day, starting at 10 o’clock until late in the evening, you can enjoy the latest movies, varying in work of world-famous filmmakers such as Wes Anderson, Thomas Vinterbeg and Woody Allen to promising talents from all over the world. From Oscar winning movies to low-budget documentaries and from costume drama to animated films.
