Never a dull moment at Stratumseind. With over 50 consecutive cafés, bars and nightclubs, Stratumseind is the longest pub street in the Netherlands. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday the Eindhoven youth turns this street into a fiesta that lasts until 4:00 AM. Located in the city centre and definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a night out on the town.
At Market Square you can pay a visit to one of the grand cafés. De Bergen area can be described as more intimate and trendy. Especially Kleine Berg and Wilhelmina Square offer a vibrant and atmospheric range of day, evening and nightlife locations. Start your night at one of the bistros, that are much likely to turn up the music at some point during the evening. The cosy bars are great for intimate drinks with friends.
Station Quarter (Dommelstraat and Station Square) consists mostly of restaurants. The restaurants are extremely varied; Italian, Argentinian, Spanish, Japanese, Mexican, Greek, British food are all represented. Visit a concert at pop venue De Effenaar, catch a movie at Pathé Cinema or enjoy a drink at one of the cafés.
