Come join our three-month Homewards program for newcomers and locals. It’s a great way to meet new people and (re)discover everything Eindhoven has to offer. You’ll be in great company — 120 people have already joined!

The events are held in English.
Our community managers are here throughout the program to offer advice and tips about life in Eindhoven. You can call, message, or just chat with them in person—they speak both Dutch and English.
Who can join?
Homewards is designed for both Dutch and international newcomers—especially if you’ve moved to Eindhoven in the past year.
But we also hear from long-time Eindhoveners, who are keen to meet people and perhaps share their own tips, asking, “Can we join too?”
Our answer? Absolutely!
Homewards is a chance to (re)discover Eindhoven and meet some great new people. And really—who wouldn’t enjoy that?
When is it?
- Friday, 12 September | 19:30 - 21:30 | The Welcome Evening
- Saturday, 4 October | 15:00 - 17:30 | The Workshop
- Sunday, 16 November | 13:15 - 18:00 | The Quiz
How much does it cost?*
- Regular ticket: 27.50 euro (from 1 September)
- Early bird ticket: 20 euro (until 31 August)
*Your ticket includes entry to all three Homewards events + snacks and drinks, weekly newsletters on Eindhoven, and access to the Homewards community led by our two community managers.

About us
Homewards started with a simple idea: moving to a new city should feel exciting, not lonely. That’s why a group of local organizations joined forces to help both Dutch and international newcomers find their way in Eindhoven.
And you know what? It turns out it’s just as much fun for people who’ve been living here for years. So anyone who’s up for it is welcome! We’re here to help you (re)discover the city, meet new people, and truly make Eindhoven your place. Think of it as your ‘soft landing’ into everything the city has to offer.
Homewards is powered by the friendly folks at Holland Expat Center South, Brainport Eindhoven, and This is Eindhoven.
To sum it up — here’s what to expect from the program
Over three months, we’ll help you (re)discover Eindhoven and meet new people along the way. Homewards is all about settling in — with three fun and engaging events to get you started.
1. The Welcome Evening
Kick off your Homewards journey with a cozy, fun evening! You’ll get your first insider tips about the city, and a chance to meet your fellow participants. This event is all about making it easy to connect with others—so no stress if you're not a big talker or if you're coming alone (like most people!). You won’t be on your own.
2. The Workshop
Led by the amazing Christine Caviquiolo, this creative workshop is inspired by the map of Eindhoven. You’ll discover new places that match your vibe — and feel more connected to your city.
3. The Quiz
Last but not least, The Quiz is a playful afternoon full of games, challenges, and surprises taking place all across town. You’ll explore Eindhoven’s iconic spots — with a chance to win prizes along the way!
But wait...
There's more! Throughout the program, we’ll also organize informal meetups based around your varied interests. Some are free, while others have a small cost depending on the activity — Join whichever ones catch your eye!
We’ll stay connected through a WhatsApp group, where participants can also share tips, ask questions, and post useful info. Plus, you’ll receive a weekly newsletter filled with fun ideas to help you explore Eindhoven like a local.
