By a Woman
The boundary-pushing exhibition By a Woman presents three artists, each exploring feminism and its visual language in their own way. From textiles and embroidery to sculptures and microbiological research, it's on show at Onomatopee from 25 September to 20 December.

Leonie Brandner uses inherited linen, embroidery, stone and language to trace a family's history through materials and memories.
Müge Yılmaz creates brightly coloured wooden sculptures of figures from history and her own imagination. Through them, she portrays a feminist history of writing and science.
Pei-Ying Lin turns microbiological research into textiles. She invites you to see the microbes around you – and even those inside your own body – in a new way.
