Before people embraced this unusual idea, this typical snack wall was built in the old butcher's shop. People wondered: 'You wouldn't eat on the street, would you?' Soon, it became completely normal across the Netherlands to grab a frikandel from the wall. Since then, Automatiek Marks has been a lasting and well-known part of the street scene.
