De Fabriek (Dutch for The Factory) is a workspace and exhibition space for upcoming artists and designers. For a period of time, also known as a residency, they have the opportunity to develop themselves and their work.

Each working period has at least one public exhibition. These are attended by peers, colleagues, and just interested people. Like you, perhaps. De Fabriek selects the artists based on the work they have already made, the content they submit, the relevance of their craft within contemporary art, and their professionalism within the artistic field. De Fabriek is an institution run by volunteers, mostly professionals in the field of art and design, doing this from idealism alongside their own professional practice. Definitely worth checking out!
