TipoTango has been formed by a number of enthusiastic tango dancers who come from Eindhoven and surrounding villages. A core of three people is responsible for the organisation, around which a circle of active dancers is involved in the activities: tango café, milongas, salons, workshops courses, dance lab and the multi-day 4DTango festival with Ascension. Various tango activities involve collaboration with Muziekcentrum Eindhoven, Plaza Futura, the Stadsschouwburg, and the Effenaar.
Foundation TipoTango has been founded in 1999 to broaden and to know more about the Argentinian Tango. They organize tango dances at the beautiful dance venue SCALA on a daily basis.
