Van Gogh Village Museum

The Van Gogh Village Museum in Nuenen is a fascinating museum that delves into the life of the legendary painter Vincent van Gogh. It's definitely worth a visit!

  • 20 min. bike

During your visit, there are plenty of activities. For instance, you can enjoy playful light installations at Vincent's Light Lab and experiment with light and color, just like Vincent used to do.

The museum exhibitions showcase Vincent's life in Nuenen, including his family, friends, and models, and highlight the significance of his Brabant period in his overall oeuvre. You will also get to learn about the creation of his first masterpiece, the Potato Eaters. Our tip: take an audio tour, which is available in eight languages. Additionally, you can stroll through the charming village, passing by 24 locations, including 14 Van Gogh monuments. It feels like immersing yourself in one of his paintings!

If you're visiting on a weekend, you can join the guided tour of the Van Gogh Village Museum. For more information about the museum, please check out their website.

Free admission for children up to 17 years old or with a museum card (Dutch museum pass).
