AEGEE-Eindhoven

As a member of this European student association, you can travel all year round to the most beautiful places on our continent. This way, you will not only make friends in Eindhoven, but you will also meet students from other cities and countries. So do you want to visit places all over Europe besides parties and drinks? Eindhoven Student Corps
Founded in 1957, the Eindhoven Student Corps is the oldest student association in Eindhoven. This super-active association has 500 members, 50 clubhouses, and even its own clubhouse with a student pub: De Ballenbak. The Corps organizes various activities, such as field hockey, soccer, theater, cooking, sailing, and making music with their own band Kordaat. In short: something for everyone at this association!
Hajraa
Hajraa is more than volleyball. As the largest student sports association in Eindhoven, they offer an unforgettable time and an epic volleyball competition. Whether you can play volleyball like a pro or have never touched a ball, you're more than welcome at this sportive club. A nice extra is the annual Hajraa outdoor volleyball tournament. The biggest outdoor tournament in Europe, with 500 teams and a party with 6.000 party animals. You don't want to miss this!
Thêta
Let's stay in the sports theme with the student rowing association Thêta. From casually rowing once a week to the international top level: at Thêta, students of the TU/e and Fontys Universities of Applied Sciences row at all levels. With its supreme location on the Eindhovens Kanaal, Thêta has produced several Olympic talents, and with many competitions, championships, and social drinks, there is always something to do.
Esac
Climbing to the top while studying? Then Esac is the place to be. With up to four climbing locations in Eindhoven, Esac members are in for a treat when it comes to climbing. They meet at Monk, Neoliet, and the Student Sports Center and do climbing, bouldering, and mountaineering. With members from almost all the different colleges and the TU/e, anyone with enthusiasm for climbing can join Esac.
SSRE
Even if sports are not your focus, there’s plenty to choose from. The General Student Association SSRE is an association to make the most of your time as a student. From city cantus to theme parties and from winter sports to sailing weekends, you'll experience it at SSRE. They have their clubhouse on the Vestdijk, in the heart of Eindhoven. And in society's houses, you never have to worry about eating alone.
Demos
Would you like to join a student union but are not a fan of all these commitments? Then Demos is the perfect fit for you! In this association, equality comes first, and it is not a problem if you skip a drink once in a while. Their 250 active members organize excellent activities and fabulous parties, and they have their own place where members meet every day or every week.
Lucid
Many study programs have their own student association. A good example is Lucid, the association for Industrial Design students. Because of their creative and experimental study, these designers at the TU/e are just a little different than other students. Together, they form a close-knit community within the university. Lucid is known for educational collaborations and creative events, and is worthwhile for every Industrial Design student
University Racing Eindhoven
With an acceleration speed of 2.3 seconds to go from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour, this is the fastest student club in Eindhoven: University Racing Eindhoven. Here, it's all about speed, innovation, and collaboration. Members build racecars and compete in the Formula Student Competition, the world's largest engineering and design competition.
