From 13 April to 16 2023, STRP Festival dives deeper into the theme "The Art of Listening. In our society, we prefer seeing over hearing and speaking over listening. Self-expression is what drives thought, science, and our social media value. With social media serving as a megaphone for the masses, where anyone can express their opinion anytime, STRP wonders who is left to listen. How can we revalue and claim the art of listening? With this question, STRP seeks collaboration with artists, designers, thinkers, and makers to translate the theme of Listening into original, critical, and innovative works and future scenarios.

This year, Microstad (former KPN building), the shopping center Heuvel, and Catharinakerk will be the scene of cool exhibitions, experimental dialogues, a music and performance evening, and a broad educational program. Listen to the poetry and heartbeats of Filipino women in prison, discover symbiotic life in a crystallized salt landscape, and experience the interplay between meteorological data visualization and music.
