6x Restaurants for your bucket list
Going out for dinner is always a treat. Eindhoven is bursting with restaurants, from fine dining to a healthy, quick snack. Some of them definitely belong on your bucket list. We list a few places that you must visit at least once!
Farm to table at PHOOD
You don't need a green thumb to join a delicious 3-course dinner at PHOOD. The colorful dishes are made with hyper-local grown ingredients. Just from their own backyard! Many vegetables, herbs, and plants grow on their own farm. That's what you taste (and see)!
Eat good, feel food at NADO
Finger-licking good food, smooth matching wines from Germany, and an interior most living rooms would be jealous of. Restaurant NADO is a great place to settle down for a while. Make sure to book a table here anytime soon. And the best part: you don't have to travel far. The train almost stops at the front door.
Outstanding tacos at El Pastor
De Burger has been a household name in Eindhoven for a while now (also a must on your bucket list, by the way), but next door at El Pastor, you'll find your new favorite place for tacos, ceviche, and cocktails. And not just any tacos, ceviche, and cocktails. How about birria tacos with homemade hot sauce, a tiradito nikkei with miso (the little sister of ceviche), or a hibiscus margarita? We're already getting excited!

Real American Food at Wacko's
Say goodbye to greasy burgers, XXL milkshakes, and an invasion of calories that will make your belly go to war. At the restaurant Wacko's on Wilhelminaplein, they offer you authentic American cuisine. That includes healthy options, too! Start your dinner with a Wisconsin cheddar-broccoli soup and finish it with a delicious chocolate lava cake (less dangerous than it sounds). After all, a dessert is non-negotiable.
Feel like a fish in the ocean at Merlin Seafood
Merlin Seafood is becoming a true seafood king with its restaurant, bar, and shop. Take the freshest products with you right at home. Or, our recommendation, stay at Merlin Seafood and enjoy the fantastic dished artworks on your plate. No better way to immerse yourself in the tasty (underwater) world of seafood! The lobster lovers among us will love the Lobster Sunday Afternoon. Add a little white wine, and you're done!
No-nonsense food at OST
We'll end the list in style with a restaurant that is more than worth a 9-minute bike ride! Or a 9-minute run from Eindhoven Central Station, if you like. We are talking about the restaurant OST at Sectie-C. You've most likely spotted the sunny terrace, the handsome people behind the bar, or the vintage interior already during Dutch Design Week. The delicious food is prepared with local ingredients, such as cheeses from JokkMokk or bread from dagbakker040. Try their unique (but oh so delicious) dishes like stifado of veal cheek or homemade pâté with duck rillette. Let the chefs do their magic for you!
