14x Coffee hotspots
Eindhoven has a great deal of coffee hotspots. Whether it's to get your day off to a good start, to recharge your batteries in the afternoon, or to switch to iced coffees in the summer. These are fourteen of the best places in town to get your daily caffeine fix!
Otis
This cozy hotspot on Kerkstraat is the ideal place to start your day or to make a pit stop for a strong coffee in between. Did you know Otis is the little brother of El Pastor and de Burger? Good, now you do! For breakfast, order a toast and an egg and wrap it up with a slice of their homemade banana bread.
DENF Coffee
DENF Coffee serves delicious coffee from its very own coffee roastery. Besides a house blend, they also have single origins (high-quality coffee from one specific country) on the grinder. Work or study with a cup of coffee and free Wi-Fi or buy coffee beans to try DENF at home. Where to find them? They're located inside the Witte Dame. Or enjoy the sun on the sunny terrace!
Lucifer Coffee Roasters
Where once the first Dutch match factory settled, you will now find one of the first coffee bars of the city. With fresh coffee, they have their own "Eindje" blend, and a great interior, Lucifer is a place that you should not skip. Traveling by train today? Pass by their location at Eindhoven Central Station!

Coffeelovers
Coffeelovers is the perfect place in Eindhoven to read a good book while enjoying a cup of coffee. In this cafe at bookstore Van Piere, the baristas will make you a tasty cappuccino with great latte art.
Mr Brown
You cross a unique combination of specs & beans at Mr Brown. Because buying glasses is supposed to be fun. Have your eyes checked out while enjoying the smell of warm apple pie and have a cup of coffee after purchasing your new glasses.

Stadsbranderij
This tiny, photogenic cafe is a real hidden gem! In a centuries-old warehouse with little garden, hidden in district De Bergen, the scent of freshly roasted coffee awaits you at Stadsbranderij Bean Brothers. Enjoy traditionally prepared coffee, tea, and delicacies.
Bakkie040 (Strijp-S & TU/e)
Bakkie040 will probably be the most heartwarming coffee spot you will encounter. With the initiative by Springplank and Trudo, homeless people get barista training and gain valuable contacts and work experience. Make sure to order a 'bakkie troost', which translates to cup of comfort. You'll make somebody's day!
Dodo
Don’t be fooled by the name: this coffee hotspot is far from extinct. You’ll find Dodo at Gerardusplein in the Stratum neighborhood, where, alongside great coffee, they run an artisanal mini-bakery. Everything is made in-house: croissants, chocolate-hazelnut cookies, cakes, and fresh sourdough loaves to take home.

Community Square
Exploring Strijp-S and craving a specialty coffee or a matcha? They got you at Community Square. Owner Esmee knows everything about coffee and makes everything herself, from the (vegetarian) quiche to the almond-coconut cake.
Koffiehuisje
Check out Koffiehuisje (coffee house) in Strijp, a former Philips district. Order coffee or tea and try one of their delicious homemade cakes. Fun fact: Koffiehuisje mainly works with coffee from the Stadsbranderij. And the pastries? They are baked down the road at 't Bakhuisje.
Sprout Coffee
Brothers Daniell and Ruben were born in Eindhoven, grew up in Perth, Australia, and now back in our city to share their coffee knowledge with their Sprout Coffee Roasters. You can taste their coffee at Fifth NRE (or other hotspots such as ZwartWit) or expand your own knowledge during a barista workshop!

Jungle Café
Welcome to your local tropics: Jungle Café! This cozy coffee bar in Woensel-West is the place to enjoy vegan dishes and exotic vibes. This coffee hotspot is all about quality. That's why the baristas are passionate about making the most delicious drinks, thanks to the beans of Sprout Coffee Roasters.
Smaakmakers
We’re staying in Woensel-West for a bit and paying a visit to Smaakmakers for a coffee. What makes this place special? They work together with people living with dementia. Host Ellie’s favorite thing to do is chat, joke around, and make you feel right at home. Oh, and serve you great coffee (roasted by Caffeine Dealers), of course. Insider's tip: try the homemade monchou cheesecake.
Koffie Keuten
At Koffie Keuten, you can settle down for a delicious cup of coffee, fresh teas, breakfast, lunch, and lots of pastries. We’ve known Koffie Keuten for years: owner Yvonne started her coffee adventure in the Veemgebouw at Strijp-S and now has a permanent spot on Geldropseweg. What’s Yvonne’s go-to drink? A strong flat white, made with an “Espresso Nel”—named after her great-aunt.
