6x Fun playgrounds
Sliding, jumping, swinging: the outdoor playground season is in full swing. At these outdoor playgrounds in Eindhoven, kids will have plenty of fun.
Playground Sint Joseph
Also commonly known as the Grandpa Playground. This lovely spot is tucked away in the residential Doornakkers, and one thing we know for sure: no one will get bored here! Race across the footbridge, make backflips on the bouncy castle, or climb to the top of the giant climbing frame. The icing on the cake is the cableway, which takes you right through the park.
Playground the Splinter
The name says it all; this is not just a playground but a whole park full of fun activities. Besides lots of playground equipment, Speelpark de Splinter has a construction corner, a petting zoo, and a real pirate island. A splash into one of the paddling pools is a delight when temperatures get hot.
Playground VOJ
Let's begin with the best news: entrance to the VOJ playground is only €0.50! And if you're a member, it's completely free. The playground often hosts fun events, including during Halloween. To get there, ride your bike to Eendjesvijver and follow the path to Cornelis Dankertsstraat. Our tip: celebrate your next kid's birthday party at this fantastic location!

Playground Philipsdorp
A playground that is also great for parents: from the deck, you have a view over the entire area to keep an eye on the kids. Rockers, swings, a carousel, and sandbox, you name it, and Philipsdorp playground has got it. There is also plenty for older children to do with a four-story tower with a slide, and a soccer field.
Philips van Lenneppark
You will find this awesome 'do-park' in the Strijp area. The Philips van Lenneppark is a lovely green place with many facilities. From climbing and scrambling equipment to a skate ramp and a tennis court. In addition, there is a basketball court and plenty of space to play soccer. Our tip: this free spot is also great for a picnic or an ice cream from the Mevrouw van Lennep pavilion.
Playground Vonderkwartier
In Vonderkwartier's Prinsenhof, there's a generous playground with a soccer field, climbing equipment, and sandboxes. It's the perfect spot for children to have a blast! Feel like playing street soccer or basketball? Take a walk down the street towards the Lodewijk Napoleonplein. Afterward, you can relax with a refreshing drink at café 't Vonderke.
