10x Happiest spots for kids

Whether you are heading out with a curious toddler or a teenager who is not easily impressed, there are plenty of fun activities for kids in Eindhoven. We have collected some of the happiest hotspots for you in random order. Enjoy!

De Ontdekfabriek

Play, enjoy a great film, and build inventions in the Ontdekfabriek, located in one of the old Philips factories at Strijp-S. On Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays and during the school holidays, the team is ready to let visitors experience fantastic adventures.

PSV Museum

In the PSV Museum, you can immerse the whole family in the world of PSV Eindhoven. Experience the club in an interactive way and admire the greatest prizes in club history. Finish the day with a guided tour of the Philips Stadium or visit the brand new Fan Store!

Escaperoom040

Discover, solve riddles, and escape from the kids' escape room of Escaperoom040. The rooms have been designed so even children can play with them. This not only makes for a day full of adventure but also is great for some brain training. Escaperoom040

Stadswandelpark

Just south of the city center you'll find the Stadswandelpark. The ideal place for a cozy picnic or a hike. In the park, you will also find the Observatory where you can go on a spacewalk. Download the Space Walk app and go on a discovery trip.

DAF Museum

Be surprised by Eindhovens own DAF. Everything they invented from 1928 to the present can be admired in the recently extended DAF Museum. Highly recommended for lovers of trucks and cars.DAF Museum

Philips Museum

Discover the present, past, and future of the once small lightbulb manufacturer named Philips. There's plenty to do in the Philips Museum: from a scavenger hunt with UV lights to educational challenges for the whole family. During the school holidays, there are even more activities where children get to work with technology.

Speeltuin Philipsdorp

Around the corner from Strijp-S, you will find one of Eindhoven’s most beautiful playgrounds called Speeltuin Philipsdorp. It is an open area with a separate area for the little ones. With lots of play equipment, a large sandbox, and a terrace there is fun for everyone. Nice little detail: the playground is designed so children with reduced mobility can play as well.

PreHistorisch Dorp

Ready for a journey through history? It's possible at PreHistorisch Dorp (Prehistoric Village)! In this open-air museum, children learn everything about historical eras through fun activities. Chat with locals, learn how to make a fire, or paddle in a dugout canoe. Extra tip: during the summer vacations there are even more activities, including lots of water fun.

Genneper Hoeve is a green oasis near the city center. The property of this idyllically situated organic farm is open to the public all day. Visit the cows and chickens, see how cheese is made, and don't forget to pay a visit to the farm shop.

Van Abbemuseum

This summer, children can join the Garden Tour in the garden of the Van Abbemuseum. This educational adventure takes kids along nature and culture with fun assignments and ensures that all the senses are stimulated. And parents are welcome to join in too!
