5x Spots for hot chocolate
It can be quite cold in Eindhoven, so here's a list of the city's best places to grab yourself a hot chocolate!
The almost picturesque Koffiehuisje is located in the Philipsdorp. Besides coffee, they also sell hot chocolate. Opt for the one with regular milk or replace it with oat, soy, almond, or even coconut milk. Want to try something else to satisfy your chocolate cravings? You might want to go for a piece of (chocolate) cake by Pinkie Patisserie.
Meneer de Boer
Meneer de Boer on Keizersgracht offers delicious breakfasts all day, every day. Switch your daily coffee for something a little different, for example, white chocolate milk with mini marshmallows. During cold winter days, you can also order drinks like the 'turmeric latte' and 'warm wintery apple drink'.
In the middle of the city center, on Market Square, you can grab yourself a hot chocolate on almost every corner. To make it easy on you, we will highlight just one spot: De Wildeman. Order a hot chocolate (or glühwein!) and get festive. The Christmas lights will definitely contribute to that feeling.
We continue this chocolate journey in another district, namely Strijp-S. Here, CoffeeLab Strijp-S serves a delicious Tony Chocoloney hot chocolate. A little different than usual but it's a tasty treat for sure. Prefer your hot cocoa without milk? There's a vegan option too!
This hot chocolate will make you very happy. With the help of the so-called 'Happy Hot Chocolate' by Happiness Café your longing for chocolate is gone in one fell swoop. FYI: the chocolate of choice is dark Belgian by Callebaut. Our tip: top it off with a dash of plant-based whipped cream.
