It's wintertime: 6x Cozy tips

It's wintertime! Explore Eindhoven in the colder months and warm up in a variety of museums and shopping malls, or grab yourself a hot chocolate. We also selected a number of fun indoor activities. Enjoy!

Ice skating

One of the best things about winter in the Netherlands is ice skating! Skating enthusiasts can strap on a pair of skates and show their skills at the IJssportcentrum Eindhoven. Take on the 400-meter track or practice your figure skating. When it's cold enough, you can even skate outside! Head to the Karpendonkse Plas, recreatieplas Hanevoet or the ponds in Stadswandelpark or the Genneper Parken!

Winter exhibitions

A cold winter's day is ideal for a visit to one of the Eindhoven museums and art spaces. Want to get to know more about the city and its history? Then visit the Philips Museum or the DAF Museum

Escape rooms

Do you have nerves of steel, sharp senses, common sense, and a good dose of self-confidence? Do you dare to take on the challenge and escape in time? Then definitely pay a visit to one of the escape rooms in Eindhoven.

Indoor shopping

Looking for an activity during rainy weather? What about some indoor shopping!  Eindhoven has a good number of indoor shopping malls. The Piazza Center, Heuvel Galerie, and the Urban Shopper are packed with cool shops. So, plan your visit, and stay dry.

VR Centers

Another fun indoor activity is VR-gaming. Eindhoven has a number of locations where you can immerse yourself in virtual reality worlds. For example, Enversed at Strijp-S and NexxtVR in the city center. So, book your tickets and have some fun.

Hot chocolate

When temperatures drop, all you need is a hot chocolate! Whether you go for a variant with white chocolate, with or without whipped cream, or the vegan option, these spots serve it hot and to-go.
