6x Wine Bars

Eindhoven is full of vibrant new wine bars, and we certainly won't let that go unnoticed. Whether you're in the mood for a French Syrah, a Spanish Rioja, or a glass of bubbles, these bars have you covered. Raise your glass and discover six authentic wine bars of Eindhoven

Café Barolo

Wine lovers have long known where to find Chef Adrian Zarzo for his refined wine taste: at Michelin-starred restaurant Zarzo, Zuid by Zarzo, and the adjacent wine bar Bodega. The newest addition to this list is the cozy Café Barolo, where you can choose from wines based on the private collection of Adrian himself. And it’s an impressive one: there are always about 40 bottles open. Looking for something truly special? Take a peek at the impressive wine fridge holding around 300 selections.

La Casera

Next stop: a taste of Bella Italia in Eindhoven. From a robust Brunello to a creamy Pecorino: what makes wine bar La Casera so special is that they serve exclusively Italian wines and delicacies here. This has everything to do with owner Mike's love for Italy. Choosing what to drink here is no easy task, so we suggest starting with bubbles, moving on to a fresh white, and finishing with a chilled red wine. Even if you're not an Italophile, you can have a great time here.

Vino Victoria

At Vino Victoria, you can take a culinary trip around the world without packing your bags. With 93 unique wines by the bottle and 36 wines by the glass from every corner of the globe, there is always something new to discover. Can't decide? Quite understandable! Just ask owner and certified wine expert Jeroen. He’ll help you find the perfect match, including delicious bites to go with it. All you need to do is sit back and enjoy that vacation feeling in a glass.

Bodega by Zarzo

We briefly mentioned Bodega earlier, but there's more to tell about this little wine bar. Right next to restaurant Zuid by Zarzo, you'll find Bodega, which means wine house or wine cellar in Spanish. The best wines from Zarzo and Zuid by Zarzo come from here, so you know it’s the good stuff Zarzo has won several awards from Wine Spectator, a coveted prize in the world of wine connoisseurs. So at Bodega, you can settle in for a wine worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant!

L’Avenue

Nope, you're not in France, you're just at L’Avenue on the Kleine Berg! Here you can taste authentic French wines and refined dishes that make you feel like you're in a foreign vineyard. Think of a fresh 'La Huppe Sauvignon Blanc', an accessible Vin de France, ideal with oysters or garlic-marinated sardines. But that's not all: with more than 100 wines from places like Reims, Provence, Spain, Italy, and Australia, there is always something new to discover here. This wide selection provides plenty of variety, depth, and renewal – perfect for wine lovers among us!

Lucie Cocina

Lucie Cocina isn’t just a wine bar, but they are so good with wines that we still give them a spot on our list. This restaurant on the Kleine Berg exudes intimacy: a cozy atmosphere, fantastic food, and a wine list to drool over. Quality is paramount here. The wines – mostly from Spain – are sustainable, ecological, and produced in small batches with much passion and craftsmanship. To guarantee the quality, Lucie personally visits a number of the wineries on the list. This way, they know they only pour the very best into your glass.

The best of the best

Nothing wrong with pampering oneself with a delicious dinner. Perhaps at one of the starred establishments or exciting newcomers that Michelin has its eye on. Whatever your eye (or stomach) turns to, there is plenty to choose from in the local fine-dining field.
