In 'Walls with Paint,' Eindhoven-based artist, photographer, and art lover Lukedaduke shares the story behind unique street art in Eindhoven. This month: the colorful work of Jeffrey Warlich, alias Sektie.
The Kleine Berg is one of Eindhoven's most diverse shopping streets. There is something for everyone! A comic book store, clothing store, coffee bar, fabric store, art store, and more. Since a few months, you can discover even more in the hidden corners of the street. The ones paying attention have probably already noticed them: the brightly colored figures by Jeffrey Warlich.
Born and raised in Eindhoven, Jeffrey discovered graffiti at a young age and soon left his first traces on walls throughout the city. You can find his work in several places, like the Berenkuil, where he is a regular participant in Step in the Arena. Already a tip for visiting next summer!

Walking down the Kleine Berg, you quickly come across several murals by Sektie. You'll see a pirate falling off his skateboard, a woman in a birdcage, and a powerhouse on the pillar of a garage. The artworks have Sektie's signature style, such as influences from cartoons and old record covers. Now you have an extra reason to visit the Kleine Berg!
