5x Inspiring meeting spaces

Nowadays creative entrepreneurs transform industrial heritage into amazing new hotspots. We’ve listed five exciting meeting spots for you!

Lab-1  @the city center

Fancy a brainstorm in a retro-vintage-cinema atmosphere? On the Keizersgracht, in the former Zien cinema, you will find Lab-1. A film house, bar-café and club. A place that stands for energy, experiment, creativity and where you can enjoy exciting films and great DJs. A venue that is for rent as an unconventional meeting place too.

Microlab @Strijp-S

Looking for a special location with panoramic views? The Skybar, on the sixth floor of the Microlab, overlooks the TU/e, Philips Stadium and Evoluon. The atmosphere in the Microlab echoes a vibrant maker culture. Downstairs you will find workshops (for wood, metal and ceramics) and office spaces where companies like Treams have their homebase.

Ilse Wouters Academy @Sectie-C

Sectie-C, a former factory site on the outskirts of the city, is the homebase of many designers and creative entrepreneurs. Here you will also find the Ilse Wouters Academy. A theatre, studio and foyer that can also be booked for meetings and brainstorms. An excellent spot with delicious catering.

Microlab

Piet Hein Eek @Strijp-R

Everyone has heard of Piet Hein Eek, but his tiny meeting house is perhaps less well known. This special spot can be found on the platform next to his restaurant and studio at Strijp-R. An intimate, secluded setting, with all facilities within easy reach.

Keukenconfessies @Strijp-S

Do not expect a standard approach at Keukenconfessies (‘kitchen confessions’). They’re located in a great place (on the fourth floor of the Klokgebouw) and known for their delicious and unusual dishes. At Keukenconfessies you can do a workshop together with your team, but you can also leave the catering to the kitchen and concentrate on your brainstorm or meeting. Indulge yourself in the meantime in yummy 'hanging snacks', food served from a dresser or something completely different…
