The Corner

Yamani Bounnou has been running The Corner on the Grote Berg since 2016. Although the pancakes are highly recommended, the bowls, sourdough sandwiches, and Maroccan specialties are also worth ordering. 

Brasserie van den Berg

Oui, oui, the food has to hit the spot but looks will make your experience complete. Brasserie van den Berg will serve you both, thanks to the trendy, charming, and delicious French menu. So, what are you waiting for? Reserve a spot!

Van Alles en Co

Don't know what to have for lunch? Then Van Alles en Co is always a good idea. This colorful hotspot in Woensel-West knows how to steal your heart with healthy dishes and well-filled food platters. Spoiler alert: your vintage hunger will be satisfied too. 

Coffeelab Strijp-S

This hotspot at Strijp-S makes it to one of our lists again! At Coffeelab, formerly known as 'Onder de Leidingsstraat', they serve all kinds of healthy dishes, including veggie and vegan options. Try one of their sandwiches, bowls, and smoothies. Like a coffee with your lunch? Consider this a sign!

Piet Hein Eek

In a former Philips factory building, you will find Lobby Restaurant and the re-opened Grand Café next to Piet Hein Eek's workshop and showroom. From noon onwards, you can get in line for a handful of fresh, organic and hyper-local ingredients prepared by Chef Erling. Our tip: the Lunch Spread at the Lobby Restaurant from Monday to Wednesday. Stick around and settle down on the roof terrace or in 't Straatje and don't forget to visit the shop and exhibition space! Craving a greasy bite instead? From Thursday to Sunday, you can score the famous fries at FRIET. Enjoy!

De Vooruitgang

One of the best places to look for lunch spots is Market Square (de Markt). Here, you can find all sorts of restaurants to satisfy your hunger. We'd like to mention the eye-catching De Vooruitgang, not only foodwise (it's really good) but also when it comes to availability; there's plenty of room both inside and outside. Head over and try their green shaksuka with flatbread, for example.

Krok Madam

Of course, you can make a 'tosti' at home, but food tastes better when prepared by someone else. And at Krok Madam, there's a whole lot of love involved. This madam makes all kinds of tasty sandwiches, from traditional ones (hello croque madame and croque monsieur) to new and surprising tostis with salmon. Order a fresh juice, and your lunch is complete!

ZwartWit Koffie

ZwartWit Koffie, located at Victoriapark, offers more than just outstanding specialty coffee. Everything on the menu can be ordered all day, every day. Whether you're a big eater or more of a nibbler, there's something for everyone! What about fresh fruits, Eindoven-made sausage rolls, or sandwiches with homemade toppings? For extra greens, your sandwich can be ordered as a salad, too!

Lovers of delicious sandwiches have had their eye on this sandwich store for a long, long time. Don't know TWO B yet? This is the time! There's something for everyone, from the spicy chicken sandwich to the widely loved carpaccio. But also the place to be for salads, soups, and wraps. Little disclaimer: there might be a waiting line. Yes, the sandwiches are THAT good. 

Kazerne 

You can have lunch at design and lunch hotspot Kazerne all year round, perhaps during Dutch Design Week. But the perfect moment is when the sun's out. In their sunny courtyard garden, you can imagine yourself being in Italy for a while, and an authentic spaghetti carbonara helps with that. That leaves you wanting more!

Blok 63-S

You name it, they have it! Looking for vegan yogurt bowls, Caesar salads, hotdogs, or even noodles? Blok 63-S appears to have it all. What makes this hotspot even more fun is the view over the bustling and industrial Strijp-S.
