Visit the Lichtjesroute (Route of Lights)

In September 1944, people from Eindhoven placed candles and lights in front of their windows to welcome the American and British liberators to the city. To commemorate our liberation, you can now follow a 22-kilometer 'route of lights' through the city each year.
