Need to shake off all those design impressions? During Dutch Design Week, you’re not just treated to top-notch innovation and design—you’re also invited to dance! This week is famous for some of the coolest parties in Eindhoven. Where are you dancing your feet off?

The Bar @Ketelhuisplein

As always, DDW’s official pop-up bar returns to Ketelhuisplein—but this year, it’s got a whole new look! We have to say goodbye to the classic black-and-white umbrella and welcome a brand-new … well, it’s pink!  Every night, a different Eindhoven collective takes over the decks, with this year’s host: Otomoto. Monitor @Ketelhuis

Missing out on an epic techno party? We’ve been there … It hurts.  That's why we're telling you in advance to go full throttle at Monitor’s DDW special at Ketelhuis. From 21:00 onwards, the upper floor of Ketelhuis will be lit. Don’t let FOMO strike you, grab your ticket now!

(Un)official opening @ Kelderman en Van Noort

While others go right, Kelderman en Van Noort go left. Why celebrate an opening on opening day when you can do something different? To (re)launch their Dutch Design Week exhibition Human Zoo with style, they will throw a 'little' party with live music. Dancing is mandatory!

Striptopia @Dynamo

Does pole dancing count as dancing? Duh! During Dutch Design Week, Striptopia brings its most intimate pop-up strip club to Dynamo. Haven’t heard of Striptopia yet? It was founded by former DAE student Maggie Saunders and offers an alternative to traditional strip clubs by giving performers more autonomy and using interactive technology. Want to experience it? You’ll have to go yourself!

Indoor Beach @ Plug In City

In Brabant, we always say: In the South, the sun is always shining! So, if you thought the summer was over, think again! At Plug In City, they bring tropical vibes to Eindhoven. Afraid your feet might get cold? No worries: the sand is heated, so take off your shoes and dance like a free bird on the beach!

212 x 575 @Strijp-S

Back to Base @VIBES

Maybe Back to Base isn’t officially one of DDW’s parties. But hey, every party counts, the more, the merrier! With this party, energy levels will peak: Kyle Starkey and Lammer will flood the Eindhoven dancefloor with non-stop vibes. What to expect? A trance and techno party that will resonate for long, long times.

Grand opening Dutch Design Week @Domusdela

A festival the size of Dutch Design Week wouldn’t be complete without an official opening – especially this year, as DDW celebrates its silver anniversary. Didn’t get your hands on one of those coveted invites? No worries – the afterparty is free and open to everyone!

Live bands @Biergarten

On day one, up-and-coming bands at Biergarten will show what they’re made of. They will kick off the design week with a bang. What do you need for that? Maybe an ice-cold cerveza. Why are we speaking Spanish? It is Dutch Design Week, after all. Either way: Have fun! ¡Que te diviertas!

Jess Oberlin’s Karajøke @Biergarten

Prefer to take the stage yourself and belt out your musical guilty pleasures? Seize your moment and the mic at Jess Oberlin’s Karajøke! What’s your go-to hit? Spice Girls, Vengaboys, or maybe Justin Bieber? Either way, it’s going to be a blast! PS: Every nightingale also has a chance to win prizes.

DDW x OWOW closing party @Club-C on Sectie-C

Dutch Design Week kicks off in plenty of places – a little dancing here, a few drinks there. However, every celebration must come to an end. And that calls for a proper closing party. This year, you can go all out one last time at Sectie-C during the OWOW Closing Party. DJs like DUIF, Kapibara, and Wessel will be behind the decks to make sure DDW ends on a design-worthy high.

DDW CAFE x Ve-tsin Society @Ketelhuis

Dancing on an empty stomach? Not recommended. On the DDW Friday, start with dinner at restaurant Ketelhuis, then head to the party hosted by DDW CAFE and Ve-tsin Society. On Friday the 24th, let loose to the Venezuelan disco-house beats of Barcelona’s Gee Lane.
