15x Dancing during Dutch Design Week

Seen enough design for the day? Time to dance it off. When the exhibitions close, Eindhoven throws some of its best parties of the year. Here's where to go.

The Bar @Ketelhuisplein

Dutch Design Week's official pop-up bar is back on Ketelhuisplein. Every night, a different Eindhoven collective takes over the turntables. Curious who's playing? Keep an eye on Instagram for updates!

PIXL Clubnight @PIXL Club

DDW officially kicks off on Saturday, 17 October, but why wait to party? On Friday night, PIXL Clubnight gets the week started early, with resident DJs Groove Safari and Daniel June playing an energetic mix of house, disco, and tech house. Let loose and dance like it's your last night on earth.

Wing Mok @Biergarten

On DDW's opening day, Wing Mok throws a party worthy of design week at Biergarten in Strijp-S. This lively spot draws music lovers, creatives, and free thinkers, with electronic house music and groovy records, old and new. It's the kind of party where you come in for one drink and end up staying until last call.

Faction @Effenaar

Faction usually doesn't get behind the decks until around midnight, but this year they're switching things up with their first-ever evening edition. Great news for all drum 'n' bass and neurofunk fans: less sleep deprivation, and just as much bass. What more could you want? GOURSKI opens the night, followed by DJs DUBLEX, JAYFOR, and more.

NUL40 @Indoor Sportcentrum

You probably know the lyrics of Dutch stars Lil Kleine, Samuel Welten, and Bizzey better than you'd like to admit. At NUL40, you don't have to hide it: everyone around you sings along. Avoid FOMO and buy your ticket now!

PIXL w/ Emanuel Satie @PIXL Club

Almost every Emanuel Satie track has gotten the PIXL dance floor moving at some point. With his signature melodic house and techno, he's carved out a solid place in the electronic scene. And now, during DDW 2026, he'll be behind the booth at PIXL himself.

WEVAL @PIXL Club

DJ duo Weval knows exactly how to tear down a techno club. Two minds, one unmistakable sound: together they turn PIXL upside down with driving grooves and electronic soundscapes. They're leaving their live setup at home this time, but expect a special DJ set that will set the dance floor on fire.

Chit Chat Friday @Domusdela

Chit Chat Friday may not be one of the official DDW parties, but hey, every party during DDW is a bonus. The more, the merrier! What can you expect? A Friday happy hour that got out of hand, with disco, house, '90s and 2000s hits, and urban sounds to keep you on the dance floor.

PIXL w/ Desmond @PIXL Club

No drop ceilings here, just bare walls and house music in the basement of the old SFF office in Strijp-S. On Saturday, 24 October, Eindhoven DJs Desmond, Hense, and Convicts On The Run take the helm at PIXL Club.

Neophyte Presents: Always Hardcore @Vibes

Got any energy left after all that design? Let it all out at Neophyte Presents: Always Hardcore. Brutally hard beats bounce through your veins and shake the whole place up. Standing still is not an option here.

Thunderground vs Vinyl Sessions @Dok149

An extra festive one this year: Thunderground celebrates its fifteenth edition during DDW. Join the crowd and dance along as Darkraver & Vince set the tone with old- school, early rave, hardcore, and everything in between.

Dancing on an empty stomach? Not recommended. So on Saturday, 24 October, start the night with a three-course dinner at Radio Royaal, then stay for the 212.575 party in Strijp-S. Techno will be pounding from the speakers all night long, across three locations: Radio Royaal, Keukenconfessies, and The Basement.
