9x Shopping in the Emma District

Are you in downtown? Then take a walk to the Emma District. In and around the Emmasingel it's buzzing with creativity thanks to the rich history of Philips and the Design Academy Eindhoven. It's also packed with great shops, so check out our tips for shopping in the Emma District!
Fashion Stores
For unique styles, the Emmasingel is the place to be. The clothing stores here have an eye for detail, the environment, and are all must-visits when it comes to shopping in Eindhoven. Here are some of our highlights.
Scoopstore
At Scoopstore, they showcase the work of so many different designers, so take your time! In this store, the brands are central and therefore you'll only discover clothing brands created by passionate entrepreneurs.
Ace and Tate
Looking for a wearable design? The collection of Ace and Tate consists of Dutch designs and comes in the form of glasses and sunglasses. At their neighbors Mr. Brown, located across the street in the Bruine Heer, they are equally happy to help you with some specs and beans.
Vielgut
We can only say that Vielgut makes you feel good. They have clothing and accessories from fine brands that have a high regard for the environment. Tip: they also sell the work of famous designer Piet Hein Eek.

Home Decor Stores
With the Design Academy Eindhoven just around the corner, it's not surprising that the shops in this district are full of design. Enrich your interior with some interior design from one of the following addresses.
Hutspot
A nice shop address is Hutspot. The Eindhoven location is about 700 square meters and offers space for the design of the recently graduated Design Academy Eindhoven talent. Ceramics, prints, and other designs but there’s more! They also have great additions for your wardrobe.
Home Stock
Are you looking for bits and bops to enrich your interior? Then you can't skip Home Stock. In this eclectic shop, furniture is filled to the brim. That can only mean one thing: here you will wander around for hours looking at statements pieces and other fixtures.
Sissy Boy
Besides the fact that Sissy Boy has a large selection of clothing and jewelry, they also have all kinds of stuff to brighten up your home. Big rugs, soft cushions, and fragile kitchen stuff. Name it, they have it! Exhausted from shopping? Then visit the Sissy Boy Daily for a freshly prepared lunch.

Specialty stores
Specialization appears to be a recurring theme at the (Nieuwe) Emmasingel. Gerard Philips, for example, started the production of light bulbs on the site of the Philips Museum. Nowadays you can visit this district for other specialties: from books to luxury care products.
Van Piere
For the real bookworms, Van Piere is a Walhalla. Here they will help you with your new favorite book. From travel books to real coffee table books, it’s all on the shelves. Speaking about coffee, in the basement, you'll find Coffee Lovers where you can sip of a fresh cup of coffee.
Soap Treatment Store
For a well-deserved shopping break, make a stop at the Soap Treatment Store. At this spot, they'll advise you on the best care products or you can book yourself a relaxing treatment. An hour at this urban spa makes your day complete.
Minitials
If you deviate from the Emmasingel to Victoria Park you will find Minitials there. A shop that’s full of subtle, elegant, and stylish jewelry with a personal touch. Their specialty is jewelry with initials to love and wear forever.
